For this One-Day Makeover many tasks were undertaken to improve and tidy up the garden, not only in the short term but in the long term as well. Protecting the existing plants by surrounding them with a membrane which would also suppress further weeds, and by conditioning the soil with Greenfingers Manure Mulch, and then covering the membrane with Greenfingers Norwegian Multipurpose Pine Bark. The existing patio and steps were also renewed by repointing the flagstones.
